Automotive Tech.AD Detroit in Three Weeks!

Report

Automotive Tech.AD Detroit 2014 took place in mid-November 2014.

The event was billed as one of the industry’s premier conferences. With advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) evolving faster than anticipated a few short years earlier, the conference brought together executives and professionals in all of the far reaching fields related to autonomous driving.

The Icebreaker, on Sunday November 16th, offered more intimate discussions with speakers and attendees. The Icebreaker Session consisted of small Roundtables where the audience could discuss the conference topics in a relaxed atmosphere, kicking off the two day conference.

Keynotes for Day 1 included:

  • Steve Underwood, Director of Technology Planning and Assessment and the Connected Vehicle Proving Center, Institute for Advanced Vehicle Systems (IAVS), University of Michigan
  • Sven Beiker, Executive Director Center for Automotive Research, Stanford University

The conference was held in Detroit, the world’s automotive capital and home to the industry’s pioneers, and was organized by we.Conect, a global leader in B2B conferences.
